Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting KS2 Teachers for temporary, ongoing supply work across primary schools in Sheffield.
This KS2 Teacher opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with pupils across Years 3 to 6 and can confidently deliver engaging lessons. Position: KS2 Teacher
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you
About the Role
As a KS2 Teacher in Sheffield, you will teach pupils across Years 3, 4, 5 and 6, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils to achieve their learning goals.
The KS2 Teacher may work on a day-to-day, short-term or longer-term basis depending on the needs of Sheffield schools. You will have the opportunity to work across a range of primary settings and year groups.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective KS2 lessons
Plan and prepare lessons in line with school expectations
Assess and monitor pupil progress
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Manage behaviour confidently and consistently
Support pupils with different learning needs
Work effectively with teaching and support staff
Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policiesCandidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status
Previous primary teaching experience
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 is desirable
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing
