About the role and school

We are seeking a KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barnet from September 2026. This KS2 Teacher role is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to join a supportive KS2 team within a well-established school.

The school has a strong community ethos with a focus on high standards, pupil wellbeing and inclusive practice. Leaders promote collaboration, structured teaching approaches and strong behaviour systems to support learning. The successful KS2 Teacher will join a friendly and committed staff team dedicated to raising attainment and supporting every child.

This KS2 Teacher role is suitable for both experienced teachers and confident ECTs looking to develop within KS2.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality KS2 teaching as a KS2 Teacher
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons
Support pupil progress and attainment across the curriculum
Maintain strong behaviour management and routines
Work collaboratively with staff and leadership
Contribute to wider school initiativesQualifications/Experience

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
KS2 experience desirable
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
