About our school:

Heckington House is an independent school based over two sites in the heart of Lincolnshire and is part of Keys Group. We offer specialist provision for students with SEMH and those who have found mainstream education difficult. Our facilities include small, nurturing classrooms fully equipped with smart boards to facilitate learning.

We offer vocational subjects such as Hair and Beauty and Construction alongside traditional curriculum areas. Our class sizes are based on a model of 4 students to 2 adults enabling us to provide a trauma led approach to both pastoral support and educational progress. We will offer you the chance to make a real difference to young people and give you the time to plan to meet the needs of a small group of students.

Overview of the role of KS2 Teacher:

- To provide, monitor and evaluate the use of resources related to KS3 work

- Supporting progress through educational experiences that supports effective planning, teaching, learning and assessment.

- Teach a range of subjects and skills to KS2 students in order that they receive a broad and effective curriculum that will prepare them well for their next stage of education

- Creating engaging lessons, explain complex concepts simply, and enrich classroom time by using experiments

We would love to hear from people who:

- Passionate champions of students with SEND

- At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment
