About the role:

We are currently seeking a KS2 Teacher to join our primary school in Finchley on a part-time basis, starting ASAP. The position requires the successful candidate to work 3 days per week. As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to Key Stage 2 students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and ensuring the academic and personal development of all pupils. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to join a supportive and dynamic school community.

Application Requirements:

• Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent, demonstrating their ability to meet the professional standards required for teaching in UK schools.
• Candidates should have previous experience teaching Key Stage 2 students, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and pedagogical approaches suitable for this age group.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive and structured learning environment, effectively managing student behavior and engagement within the classroom setting.
• A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with the ability to adhere to school policies and procedures related to child protection and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons across various subjects, catering to the diverse learning needs and abilities of Key Stage 2 students.
• Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development and attainment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the individual learning needs of students, providing additional support or extension activities as necessary to ensure all pupils reach their full potential.
