Teaching Personnel are working with a primary school in B17 who are looking for a confident and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to cover a maternity absence.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher looking for a full-time role where they can settle into a class and become part of the school team. The school is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, build positive relationships with pupils and maintain a calm and well-managed classroom.

The Role

Full-time KS2 teaching as maternity cover

Planning and delivering engaging lessons

Managing behaviour effectively and consistently

Supporting pupils across a range of abilities

Working closely with teaching assistants and other staff

Maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour

Taking responsibility for the progress and wellbeing of the class

We're Looking For

QTS is required

Recent experience teaching within KS2

Strong classroom and behaviour management

A confident and approachable teaching style

Someone reliable who can commit to the maternity cover

A genuine interest in supporting pupils to achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
