The Graduate:
To be successful in this KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant Role, you will have…
At least a 2:2 bachelor’s degree.
Passion for supporting the learning and development of KS2 pupils.
Understanding of the importance of following safeguarding procedures.
Natural ability to form positive connections with young leaners.
Previous experience of working alongside pupils, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.
The Role
Assisting teaching staff in all aspects of classroom teaching.
Monitoring pupil progress and identifying any additional support needs.
Providing 1:1 and small group interventions to under-achieving pupils to raise their progress levels as they approach their SAT examinations.
Working in close collaboration with staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Assisting in extracurricular activities to extend pupils’ passion for education beyond the classroom.
