KS1 Teaching Assistant - Ellesmere Port
Location: Ellesmere Port and surrounding areas
Salary: £95-£105 per day
Job Type: Supply / Temporary / Long-term

Do you enjoy helping younger pupils build confidence with their learning? Academics is looking for an enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to work with primary schools throughout Ellesmere Port and the surrounding area.
We're looking for reliable, caring education professionals who can step into a classroom and quickly become a positive member of the school team.
From daily supply to longer-term placements, there are opportunities available for TAs looking for different levels of flexibility.
Your Role Could Include
Supporting children in Years 1 and 2 with their daily learning
Helping with phonics, reading, writing and early maths
Working with individuals and small groups
Supporting classroom activities and learning interventions
Encouraging positive behaviour and independence
Helping pupils who require additional support
Working alongside the class teacher to provide effective classroom support
Creating a positive and encouraging learning environment
Who We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from people who are:
Experienced in a primary school or education setting
Confident working with KS1-aged children
Patient, approachable and enthusiastic
Reliable and adaptable
Comfortable supporting children with different learning needs
Able to build positive relationships quickly
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but relevant experience will also be considered.
Experience supporting SEND, phonics, speech and language, ASD, SEMH or behavioural needs would be a bonus.
