Description:
KS1 Teaching Assistant
Overview: Support pupils in Years 1 and 2 as they develop key literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide classroom support to the teacher
* Deliver small-group interventions in phonics, reading, and maths
* Support pupils with varying learning needs
* Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
* Assist with classroom preparation and displays
Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum 3 months' experience within a primary school setting
* Understanding of phonics programmes is desirable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Positive and proactive attitude
