Simply Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive village primary school located just south of Lincoln, seeking an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 1 Teacher for a full academic year maternity cover, starting in September 2026.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a KS1 class, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons while creating a positive learning environment that enables every child to thrive.

The Role

Full-time teaching position (term-time only)
Maternity cover for the full 2026/27 academic year
Responsibility for a Key Stage 1 class
Full planning, preparation and marking responsibilities
Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
Creating an inclusive classroom where every child feels supported and challengedThe Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
Strong classroom management skills
A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning
Excellent organisational and communication skills
