Job Responsibilities - KS1 Teacher

As the KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching either a Year 1 or Year 2 class, with an average class size of 30 pupils and average SEND.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with National Curriculum standards, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Additionally, you will benefit from the support of a dedicated Classroom Teaching Assistant, who will provide 1:1 support and interventions to drive student progress.

Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Has experience teaching KS1, with excellent references to support this
Demonstrated confidence teaching the KS1 curriculum and has a solid understanding of Read Write inc.
Demonstrates outstanding teaching skills and a commitment to student progress
Applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
Has a genuine passion for fostering cultural capital and global awareness
