About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our team at our Cheshunt Primary School starting immediately on a full-time, long-term basis. This vacancy arises due to expansion within our school community.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons to a mixed-ability class, supported by a Teaching Assistant in class. Our school values respect, inclusion, and excellence, fostering a culture of collaboration and lifelong learning.

Teachers benefit from comprehensive admin support and engage in a two-stage interview process, including a face-to-face interview and participation in a trial day. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the academic and personal development of our pupils in a supportive educational environment.

Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience teaching in a primary school, particularly at Key Stage 1.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• A commitment to ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.

• Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that fosters learning and development.

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary.

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning.
