KS1 Teacher 

Newstaff are looking for experienced and qualified KS1 teachers to cover in fixed term contracts starting September 2024. The contracts are in the Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire area. 

You do need to have UK Qualified Teacher status and a passion for Teaching children in Year 1 and Year 2. These roles are temporay roles which have the potentially be extended or even become permanent if the placement is successful. 

Key Responsibilities:

This will be a full time teaching role where planning and meetings will be required. 
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the intellectual, social, and emotional development of students.
Manage classroom behavior and ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences.
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Proven experience teaching primary school students, preferably in a variety of settings or be an ECT.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to obtain one.
