ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Primary Teacher to cover in KS1 on a full-time basis within schools in the Dudley and Sandwell areas.
This position will be to start from September 2024 and endure for the entirety of the academic year.
This an ideal position for an ECT looking for their first teaching position as ECT support can be provided for the right person.
About the role
This role includes the following:
Working in a full class teacher role planning, preparation and assessments. As well as parents evenings etc
Working on a full-time basis in a class based in a Key Stage 1 setting.
PPA time will be allocated within these hours as well as support with planning, meaning extra-curricular work is left to a minimum.
This will be long term cover starting from September and lasting until the end of the academic year.
About the school
The role will be within a few different schools in the Dudley and Sandwell areas depending on which schools require you to support. (Timetable pending.)
Requirements
To be considered for the KS1 Teacher role - you will:
Possess confidence in working effectively with children within the Key Stage 1 age group.
Demonstrate previous experience as a full-class teacher, particularly showcasing leadership.
Display a commitment to undertaking a full-time teaching role, including comprehensive planning responsibilities.
Have proficiency in teaching phonics and utilizing the Read Write Inc. program.
Need a relevant QTS for working in a primary school environment, this is a compulsory part of registration.
Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
Be able to gain relevant references from the last 2 years.
