We are currently recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Wolverhampton.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is committed to providing high-quality education and creating a positive, engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, making it suitable for teachers looking for either a long-term career opportunity or greater flexibility around their work.

ECTs are very welcome to apply, with the school offering a supportive environment to help Early Career Teachers develop their confidence, classroom practice and professional skills.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum, supporting pupil progress and creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging, creative and well-structured KS1 lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

* Provide differentiated learning opportunities to meet the needs of all pupils.

* Establish positive relationships with pupils and create a calm, supportive classroom environment.

* Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement.

* Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.

* Adapt teaching approaches to support pupils with different abilities and learning needs, including SEND and EAL.

* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and the wider school team.

* Follow school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to safeguarding, behaviour and pupil welfare.

* Promote the wellbeing, confidence and independence of every child.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated teacher who:

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an ECT working towards/gaining QTS.

* Has a genuine passion for working with children in Key Stage 1.

* Has a good understanding of the KS1 curriculum and the needs of young learners.

* Can plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.

* Has strong classroom management and communication skills.

* Can build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.

* Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to supporting pupil progress.

* Is reflective and keen to develop their teaching practice.

Experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply. Previous KS1 experience is desirable, but we are also happy to consider teachers with strong primary teaching experience who are looking to develop within KS1.
