About the role
Transparency Education is seeking a KS1 Teacher for a full-time primary opportunity in Bromley, starting in January. You will teach a broad curriculum with particular attention to the reading, writing and number skills that help children work with growing confidence.
We are looking for someone who can assess what pupils understand and choose the right balance of explanation, practice and challenge. Your classroom will combine consistent routines with engaging activities, and you will work with colleagues and families to keep support focused on each child’s next steps.
Key responsibilities
Plan and deliver sequenced lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
Teach phonics and early reading using the school’s agreed programme.
Develop number sense through practical resources, discussion and modelling.
Review progress and adapt teaching for pupils with SEND or English as an additional language.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role and the stated pay, applicants must have:
QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Secure KS1 curriculum knowledge, including phonics and early assessment.
Effective classroom organisation and a constructive approach to behaviour.
Appropriate qualifications and training for the responsibilities of the post.
Higher rates reflect substantial relevant teaching experience and qualifications. Pay follows school expectations and AWR, where applicable.
