TeacherActive is recruiting a KS1 Primary Teacher with QTS for regular supply work at a welcoming primary school in Newark, NG24. For the right teacher, this could lead to a long-term placement.

The role includes:

Delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum.

Supporting early reading, writing and mathematics.

Adapting teaching to suit pupils’ abilities and learning needs.

Creating a nurturing classroom with consistent routines.

Monitoring progress and sharing feedback with school staff.

The successful KS1 Primary Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience teaching the UK primary curriculum.

Secure knowledge of phonics and early learning.

A warm, patient approach and effective behaviour management.

An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
