KS1 Teacher - Year 1 & Year 2
Primary Schools | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | Aspire People

Aspire People are recruiting KS1 Teachers to support primary schools across a range of Year 1 and Year 2 settings.

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed teachers who can deliver engaging lessons while supporting pupils through this important stage of their education.

The Role:

* Planning and delivering high-quality KS1 lessons
* Teaching across the KS1 curriculum
* Developing early reading, phonics, writing and Maths skills
* Supporting pupils to become confident and independent learners
* Differentiating learning to meet individual needs
* Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs
* Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively
* Working closely with Teaching Assistants and other school staff
* Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate:

* Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Previous KS1 experience is desirable
* Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
* Confident teaching phonics, reading, writing and Maths
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Able to build positive relationships with pupils
* Patient, adaptable and organised
* Passionate about supporting pupil progress
