Teaching Assistant - Resource Base (Primary School)
Location: Moseley, Birmingham
Contract: Full-Time
Duration: September 2026 - July 2027

Aspire People are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Moseley from September 2026 until July 2027.

This is a full-time position within the school's Resource Base, which supports children with additional communication and learning needs while being part of a mainstream primary school environment. Most pupils are in Key Stage 1.

The successful candidate will be confident supporting children with a range of communication and learning needs, including pupils who are non-verbal. You will play a vital role in helping children access learning, develop their communication skills and achieve positive outcomes in a nurturing and supportive setting.

The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience supporting children with additional needs, either in a school or similar setting
* Be comfortable working with children who are non-verbal and have communication and learning difficulties
* Have a kind, patient and bubbly personality
* Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
* Be proactive, flexible and committed to supporting children's individual needs
* Work effectively as part of a team
