Select Recruitment are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porters to join our growing hospitality team across Cambridge and the surrounding areas.
We have a variety of flexible opportunities available, making this role ideal for candidates looking for work around their existing commitments or those wanting to build their hospitality experience.
The Role
As a Kitchen Porter, your responsibilities may include:
Assisting the kitchen team with general duties
Washing and cleaning kitchen equipment, crockery and utensils
Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean and organised
Assisting with deliveries and stock rotation
Supporting chefs and other kitchen staff when required
Following all food hygiene, health and safety procedures
Working as part of a busy and professional team
About You
We are looking for candidates who are:
DBS checked / able to provide a valid DBS
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Able to work well as part of a team
Flexible with working hours and availability
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
