Location: Central Cambridge, CB2
Pay: £12.71 - £13.00 per hour
Typical Shift: 6:00pm–10:30pm

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting Kitchen Porters to support a busy hospitality client in Central Cambridge, CB2.
We currently have evening shifts available, typically working 6:00pm–10:30pm, and we are looking to build a reliable pool of candidates who are interested in flexible, part-time agency work.
This is an ad hoc agency position, meaning shifts will be offered depending on client requirements and your availability. It could be ideal if you're looking for evening work alongside another job, studies or other commitments.
The Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you will help keep a busy professional kitchen running smoothly.
Your duties may include:
Washing pots, pans, plates, cutlery and kitchen equipment
Managing pot wash and plate wash areas
Keeping kitchen and staff areas clean and tidy
Cleaning work surfaces, floors and equipment
Emptying bins and maintaining waste areas
Supporting chefs and the wider kitchen team
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
Assisting with general kitchen duties where required
What We're Looking For
We're looking for candidates who are:
Reliable and punctual
Hardworking and comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen
Able to work quickly and maintain good standards
Happy carrying out physical and repetitive tasks
Comfortable working as part of a team
Available for evening shifts, typically 6:00pm–10:30pm
Interested in flexible, ad hoc work
Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Kitchen Assistant or within a hospitality environment would be beneficial, but reliability and a strong work ethic are equally important.
