Are you looking for a hands-on kitchen role within a high-end hospitality environment? This is an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join a luxury country hotel in Bridport, supporting the kitchen team and helping to maintain high standards across the operation.
This is a varied role where you'll be involved in basic food preparation, washing up, cleaning and receiving deliveries, making you an important part of the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

Become an important part of a close-working kitchen team.Key Responsibilities
As Kitchen Porter, you'll support the kitchen team with the day-to-day tasks needed to keep the operation running smoothly and efficiently.
Carry out basic food preparation to support the chefs and wider kitchen team.
Complete washing up and maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, work areas and associated facilities.
Receive kitchen deliveries, checking and safely putting away stock as required.
Support the wider kitchen team with day-to-day tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient service.What we're looking for
You'll be practical, reliable and happy to get stuck in, with a positive attitude towards working as part of a busy kitchen team.
Previous kitchen, catering or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
Reliable, hardworking and proactive, with a willingness to learn.
Organised with good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Comfortable working as part of a team and supporting colleagues when required.
Flexible and positive in your approach to a varied, hands-on role.Due to the rural location, your own car is essential. The role is based in Bridport and offers a great opportunity to develop your experience within a luxury country hotel.
