About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team at a well-established site in the Little Chalfont/Amersham area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef and kitchen team with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
Support the smooth and efficient running of food service during busy periods.
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly.
Ensure all cleaning schedules and food hygiene procedures are followed.
Keep storage areas, preparation areas, and kitchen workspaces clean and organised.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required.
Help with deliveries, stock rotation, and the safe storage of food and supplies.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
