Multi-Skilled Carpenter
£37,000–£38,500 + Company Van + 28 Days Holiday + Benefits
Servara Ltd are pleased to be partnering with a well-established and growing maintenance contractor to recruit an experienced Multi Skilled Carpenter. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive team carrying out responsive maintenance repairs within occupied residential properties across South Devon.
The successful Multi Skilled Carpenter will ideally be based in Exeter, Torbay or the surrounding areas and will cover South Devon.
Multi Skilled Carpenter Duties Will Include:
• Carrying out responsive carpentry repairs within occupied residential properties
• Repairing and replacing doors, frames, locks, skirting, architraves and kitchen units
• Undertaking repairs to windows, fencing, gates and other timber structures
• Completing first and second fix carpentry works as required
• Carrying out minor multi-trade repairs including basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering and decorating works
• Diagnosing property defects and identifying effective repair solutions
• Attending pre-booked maintenance appointments and completing repairs efficiently
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Delivering excellent customer service when working within occupied homes
• Maintaining accurate job records and completing paperwork as required
• Managing company vehicle, tools and materials responsibly
The Multi Skilled Carpenter Will Need:
• A recognised Carpentry qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
• Proven experience carrying out responsive maintenance repairs within domestic properties
• Ability to undertake a range of basic multi-trade repairs alongside core carpentry works
• Experience working within social housing, maintenance or property repairs environments
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• A full UK driving licence
• A positive and professional approach to work
