Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30am - 2:30pm
Contract: Term time only - 40.4 working weeks per year
Are you looking for a part-time job with school hours and weekends off?
We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to join a friendly school kitchen in Mill Hill. This is a great opportunity for someone local who is looking for a regular part-time role with excellent working hours.
The Role:
You will work as part of the school catering team, supporting the chef and helping to ensure a smooth and friendly lunchtime service.
Your duties will include:
- Serving students and customers during lunchtime service
- Assisting the chef with basic food preparation
- Helping with setting up and clearing down
- Washing up and maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen
- General cleaning duties within the kitchen and dining areas
- Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures
- Supporting the wider catering team as required
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a kitchen, catering or hospitality environment is preferred
- Friendly, reliable and hardworking
- Comfortable working as part of a small team
- Good standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Positive attitude and willingness to help
- DBS check will be required
