I am currently supporting a grammar school in Medway in seeking a dynamic and dedicated Key Stage 3 German and Spanish Teacher to join their thriving Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department starting in September 2024.
This role is at a leading co-educational grammar school committed to providing a high-quality education and fostering a love of learning. With a strong emphasis on academic excellence and personal development, they aim to cultivate well-rounded, confident, and resilient students prepared for the challenges of the future.
As a Key Stage 3 German and Spanish Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons in both German and Spanish to students aged 11-14.
Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes language acquisition and cultural awareness.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Collaborate with colleagues in the MFL department to share best practices and resources.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in German, Spanish, or a related field.
Proficiency in both German and Spanish.
Experience teaching languages at Key Stage 3 level
Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
