Pay: £92.59 – £99.84 per day (depending on experience, includes rolled up holiday pay)

Start Date: Immediate / September starts available
Contract Type: Long Term / Temporary | Full-time & Part-time

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in Key Stage 2?GSL Education Leicester are currently recruiting Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Leicestershire. We are looking for passionate individuals who can support pupils' academic, social and emotional development while helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role:

As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support learning across Years 3 to 6. You will provide classroom support, deliver targeted interventions, and work with individual pupils and small groups to help raise attainment and boost confidence.This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a variety of school settings while making a meaningful impact on pupils' education and wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
Help pupils develop confidence, resilience and independence
Support literacy, numeracy and intervention programmes
Promote positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom
Prepare classroom resources and assist with lesson activities
Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children in a school, educational or childcare setting
Experience supporting Key Stage 2 pupils is desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, positive and proactive approach
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
