About the role: We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) with experience in interventions and catch-up sessions to join our team in Islington, London. This role involves supporting primary school students in boosting their learning outcomes, particularly focusing on interventions to bridge educational gaps.
Application Requirements:
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with a focus on Key Stage 2.
• Proven background in delivering interventions to improve pupil attainment.
• Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support pupils with additional needs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conducting targeted interventions to support pupils in Key Stage 2.
• Working closely with class teachers to plan and deliver effective catch-up sessions.
• Providing one-on-one or small group support to pupils with special educational needs.
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Collaborating with the SENCO and other school staff to ensure holistic support for pupils.
