About the role:
This part-time position (3 days per week) as a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant is crucial to our commitment to enhancing learning outcomes for all students, particularly focusing on boosters for low achievers. The role is available due to an expansion of our support team, aiming to provide targeted interventions that will drive progress and achievement across the board.
Application Requirements:
• Experience working with Key Stage 2 students, ideally in a similar boosting or intervention capacity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• A proactive approach to supporting learning, with a firm grasp of educational strategies tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning and delivery of booster sessions under the guidance of class teachers.
• Provide targeted support to students during lessons and interventions, ensuring their progress is monitored and recorded effectively.
• Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to implement individual education plans (IEPs) where necessary.Perks and Benefits
