Our client, a vibrant school nestled in the heart of Newham, is seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) with a passion for supporting students and running interventions. Role Overview:
As a TA in our client’s esteemed institution, you will play a pivotal role in the academic and personal development of Key Stage 2 students. Drawing upon your experience and expertise, you will implement tailored interventions to support students’ progress and foster a nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the class teacher to identify areas for intervention and support.
Deliver targeted interventions to individuals or small groups of students, addressing specific learning needs.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.
Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
Contribute to the overall pastoral care and well-being of students.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a TA in a Key Stage 2 setting.
Demonstrated ability to effectively run interventions and support student learning.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the diverse needs of students.
A genuine passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
