About the role:

As a TA focusing on Key Stage 2 students needing extra support, you’ll play a vital role in assisting with booster sessions and interventions tailored to their needs. Building strong relationships with parents is crucial in ensuring a holistic approach to each student’s development. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers and parents, providing feedback and progress updates to ensure a cohesive support system both in and out of the classroom. Application Requirements:

• Previous experience working with Key Stage 2 students, preferably in a similar intervention role.
• Knowledge of booster strategies and interventions to support low achieving students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students effectively.
• A patient and empathetic approach towards supporting students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to Key Stage 2 students identified as low achieving.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of booster sessions, targeting specific areas of need.
• Establish positive relationships with students and their families, communicating regularly to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement effective interventions.
• Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to relevant stakeholders.
