Location: Finchley, Barnet, London

Hours of Work: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Salary: Daily Rate: £85 – £100

About the Role:

The school is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant with intervention experience to join its dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the academic progress and personal development of KS2 students. Working full-time, Monday to Friday, during term time, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments. Responsibilities include providing targeted support, implementing intervention strategies, and ensuring that each student reaches their full potential. The position offers stability with an ASAP start date and an end date currently unknown.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a KS2 setting, with a focus on intervention strategies and supporting student progress.

A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Relevant qualifications and/or training in education or childcare are desirable.
An understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching approaches.
Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo checks) and compliance with safeguarding policies.
