A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Essex is seeking a KS2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis for a one-year fixed-term contract. The school is open to applications from both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners, making this an excellent opportunity for teachers at any stage of their career.

Role Overview

Position: KS2 Teacher
* Start Date: September 2026
* Contract: One-year fixed-term contract
* Working Pattern: Full-time (Monday-Friday)
* Pay Scale: ECT - UPS
* Full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, assessment, reports, parents' evenings, and staff meetings
* Dedicated PPA time provided
* ECT induction and mentoring available

The School is Seeking a Teacher Who:

Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2, or is an ECT looking to begin their teaching career in KS2
* Is confident delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that support all learners
* Demonstrates strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and achievement
* Builds positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
* Has a commitment to raising standards and supporting pupil progress
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* SEN experience would be advantageous, although not essentialWhy Join?
