About the role:
We are seeking a passionate Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant with a strong background in interventions and SEN support. This role is pivotal in providing targeted assistance to students, ensuring they reach their full potential academically and socially.
The position is part-time, requiring commitment for 2-4 days per week, and is vacant due to our commitment to expanding support within our dedicated KS1 team. You will join a supportive team in a class known for its warmth and inclusivity. Class sizes are small, allowing for personalized attention and meaningful engagement with students.
Application Requirements:
• Experience in Key Stage 1 education and a proven background in interventions and SEN support.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
• A nurturing approach to education, fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implementing intervention strategies to support the academic progress of Key Stage 1 students.
• Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored lessons.
• Providing one-on-one or small group support to SEN students as needed.
• Monitoring and reporting on student progress, ensuring timely intervention where necessary.
