About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team in Newham, London, to support boosters for low achievers. This role involves working closely with small groups of pupils to provide targeted interventions and support, particularly focusing on improving outcomes for children who need additional assistance.

Application Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in Key Stage 1 or with interventions.

• Understanding of educational strategies for supporting low achievers.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Relevant qualifications or training in education or teaching assistance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing tailored booster sessions to support identified pupils in Key Stage 1.

• Collaborating with class teachers and SENCO to develop effective intervention strategies.

• Monitoring and recording progress of pupils during booster sessions.

• Providing pastoral support and fostering a positive learning environment.
