About the role:
Due to expansion and the increasing needs of our student body, we are excited to welcome a new addition to our dedicated team of educators. This role presents a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students. This role includes supporting students with English as an Additional Language (EAL), to ensure they receive the support they need to thrive.
Application Requirements:
• Relevant experience working with Key Stage 1 students, particularly those with English as an Additional Language (EAL) preferred.
• A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.
• A proactive attitude towards professional development and a commitment to ongoing learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing targeted support and intervention to Key Stage 1 students, with a focus on EAL learners.
• Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback, and implementing strategies to support academic and social-emotional growth.
