About the role:

Join our dynamic team as a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA) in Islington, London. You'll play a vital role in supporting primary students in their educational journey, focusing on Key Stage 1 with a special emphasis on boosters, interventions, and special educational needs. Application Requirements:

• Candidates should have prior experience working with Key Stage 1 students, ideally in a teaching assistant or similar role. Experience with boosters, interventions, and special educational needs is highly desirable.

• A relevant qualification in education or child development is preferred.

• Strong communication skills are essential for this role, including the ability to effectively communicate with young children, teachers, and parents/carers. Applicants should demonstrate patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt communication styles to meet the needs of diverse learners.

• The successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting teachers and other staff members in delivering high-quality education and interventions. A positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to contribute to a positive school community are key attributes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Teaching: Assist the Key Stage 1 teacher in lessons, providing individual or small group support to students.

• Lead Interventions: Implement targeted interventions and booster sessions to support students' academic progress, monitoring their development.

• Promote Well-being: Offer emotional support, manage behavior, and create a positive learning environment for all students.
