About the role:

In this vital role, you will be working closely with Key Stage 1 students who need additional support to reach their full potential. You will join a welcoming and collaborative team in a school known for its strong relationship with parents and commitment to student success. This position is particularly sought after due to the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of low achieving students, providing targeted booster sessions to help them improve in key areas such as reading and writing. Application Requirements:

• Experience working with Key Stage 1 pupils, preferably in a booster or intervention capacity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Relevant qualifications in education or child development are desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver targeted interventions to support low achieving students, particularly in areas such as reading and writing.
• Familiarity with SEN support strategies and a commitment to inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-to-one and small group booster sessions to support low achieving Key Stage 1 students in improving their literacy and numeracy skills.
• Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs, ensuring their progress is monitored and recorded accurately.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver differentiated learning activities that cater to the diverse needs of students within the classroom.
• Provide feedback to the class teacher on student progress and behavior, contributing to ongoing assessments and evaluations.
