Role Overview:
Our client seeks a passionate and experienced Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant with a knack for conducting effective intervention sessions. As a valued member of the team, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of pupils, particularly those requiring additional assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct targeted intervention sessions to support pupils’ progress in key areas.
• Collaborate with class teachers to develop and implement personalized learning strategies.
• Provide one-on-one support to pupils with special educational needs or learning difficulties.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels supported and valued.
• Assist with the planning and preparation of engaging learning activities and resources.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, with a focus on conducting intervention sessions.
• Strong understanding of key curriculum areas and strategies for supporting pupil progress.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils, staff, and parents/carers.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting the diverse needs of pupils.
• Relevant qualifications and training in education or child development are desirable.
Pay Scale:
£85-£100 per day for Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistants
