About the role:
We are seeking a passionate Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This role has become available due to the expansion of our team to support our growing student population better.
The successful candidate will assist in a classroom of 25 enthusiastic students, providing targeted support through boosters and interventions. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners during their formative years.
Application Requirements:
• A relevant qualification in education or child development is desirable.
• Experience working with Key Stage 1 students.
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
• A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who need extra help.
• Implement and monitor interventions and booster sessions.
• Support the social and emotional development of students.
• Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
