About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Brent, London. As a TA, you will provide support in boosters, interventions, and special educational needs within a primary school setting.

Application Requirements:

• Relevant Experience:

Demonstrated experience working as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting, preferably with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience supporting Key Stage 1 students.

• Subject Knowledge:

Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and experience assisting with the delivery of core subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science.

• Professional Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues to support the educational goals of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Classroom Learning: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons, ensuring the inclusion and participation of all Key Stage 1 students.

• Small Group Interventions:

Facilitate small group interventions and booster sessions to support students who require additional assistance in core subjects such as English and Mathematics, helping to reinforce key concepts and improve academic attainment.

• Assessment and Progress Monitoring:

Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student progress, including conducting formative assessments, recording data, and providing feedback to teachers and parents on student achievements and areas for development.
