Are you a passionate teaching assistant looking to extend your knowledge and experience? Look no further!
Zest Education is excited to partner with a delightful primary school in Rugeley in the search for a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday. This rewarding role is scheduled to begin in April 2024 and continue until at least July 2024. The role requires the successful candidate to work across all year groups in key stage 1.
With strong connections to the community, the school is a popular choice in Rugeley. The staff places the kids at the centre of all they do and gives them a stimulating environment to grow in, complete with numerous spaces to aid in growth and a large outdoor space.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Relevant experience working with children in a primary school setting
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- DBS clearance
Within this role the school are expecting the candidate to:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
- Assisting with the planning and preparation of educational materials
- Providing one-on-one support to students who require extra help
- Supervising students during break times and outings
- Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment
Pay will begin from £75 a day and will depend on references and experience
Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
