TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Matlock, who are looking to appoint a Year 1/2 Primary Teacher. Boasting a brand new forest school provision, this setting has recently been awarded an ‘OUTSTANDING’ OFSTED rating.
Largely populated, this setting has key values such as maintaining a passion for learning, whilst providing education for life. The school is looking to take on a driven Year 1/2 Primary Teacher on a long-term basis to cover maternity leave. The successful applicant will be working both Key Stage 1 / KS1 with the support of two Teaching Assistants. The Senior Leadership Team is dedicated to ensuring the successful Primary Teacher will be supported and developed from day one.
The successful Primary Teacher will have:
QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
Primary teaching experience in the UK
Excellent classroom management
Experience with Key Stage 1/KS1 children
In return, the KS1/ Key Stage 1 teacher will have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team in a welcoming environment. The successful KS1 teacher / Key Stage 1 teacher will be working with children of mixed abilities. It is essential that you have good working knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and that you have experience of planning and delivering quality learning experiences for pupils.
