Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming primary school in Wellingborough who are looking for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from November.

The Role
As the class teacher, you will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Creating a structured classroom environment that encourages positive behaviour and active learning
Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to support different abilities and learning styles
Developing pupils' literacy, numeracy and wider learning skills
Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff
Building positive relationships with pupils and parents
Supporting children's social, emotional and academic development
Contributing to the wider school community and maintaining high teaching standards
The Ideal Candidate
We're keen to hear from teachers who:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching in KS1 or are an ECT ready to begin their teaching career
Can deliver engaging lessons that capture pupils' interest
Have effective classroom and behaviour management skills
Are adaptable, organised and confident working independently
Have a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to children's education
Work well with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment
Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one
