Key Account Manager
Location – Surrey
Salary - £30,000 to £35,000 per annum

Do you come from a field sales background within the food and drinks industry?
We have a fantastic opportunity in Surrey for a Key Account Manager to work for one of our clients. Our client is an established and well-known distributor working throughout London, Kent, and the Southeast. In this role, you will be working full-time.
Responsibilities
* Grow and develop both new and existing customer base
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
* Follow up on new leads promptly
* Negotiating contracts and agreements to create detailed proposals as part of a formal bidding process
* Advise customers on forthcoming product developments and promotions
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks or opportunities
* Attend weekly team (via video platform) and monthly all team meetings at HQ
* Provide on going support to your customers to address any issues or concerns that may arise
* Make accurate cost calculations to provide customers with quotations
* Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
* Other duties as deemed reasonable
Skills and Experience
* Previous field sales-based experience
* Clean driving licence
* Industry knowledge and experience
* Strong communication skills
* Strategic thinker
* Highly organised and able to plan and problem-solve proactively
* A good level of numeracy
* Good working knowledge of IT systems including Word and Excel
