Junior UI/UX Web Designer
A unique opportunity for a Junior UI/UX Designer to work for a Health-Tech software company, which is making technological advances and solutions that help the NHS. Having grown to almost 100 people, they are looking to bring on a Graduate or experienced User Interface Designer to work on a varied and interesting array of digital UI and instructional design tasks, with excellent prospects for career development and growth.
Location: Ipswich – a village just outside (ideally you will be able to drive but public transport options are available). Hybrid working - 3 days in office, 5 days for the 1st month of training.
Salary: £25,000 - £27,500 per annum + benefits
Requirements for Junior UI/UX Web Designer:
* Degree educated in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Engineering or closely related subject
* Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and WordPress
* Brilliant eye for design
* Examples of your designs - i.e. in a portfolio, website, or you could compile a document showcasing these
* Ability to quickly pick up new technologies
* Strong attention-to-detail, excellent problem-solving ability, and a highly creative flair
* Great communication skills, both verbal and written
Responsibilities for Junior UI/UX Web Designer:
This role will require a wide variety of UI/UX tasks across the business with a weighting on the User Interface including:
* Manage and design of the website
* Support in developing engaging learning materials and compelling course content
* Create instructional graphics, user interfaces, and final product
* Design intuitive user interfaces
* Conceptualise and implement design ideas for product development
* Generate product imagery for training materials
* Manage design documentation such as style guides and design systems
* Establish standard UI components and style guides for universal company application
