Junior Technology Business Analyst
Location: London, hybrid working with three days per week in the office
Contract: Initial two to three weeks, continuing on a rolling basis
Day Rate: £200-£210 per day, inside IR35
Start Date: ASAP
Zachary Daniels is supporting an established international retailer in the appointment of an immediately available Junior Technology Business Analyst.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their Business Analysis career who enjoys working across technology, business processes and project delivery. You'll join a fast-paced environment, supporting a range of stakeholders across retail, ecommerce and corporate functions.
The Role
As Junior Technology Business Analyst, you will act as a link between the technology team and wider business. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing initial triage support for system issues and escalating more complex problems
Gathering and documenting clear business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders
Developing and maintaining "as-is" and "to-be" business process documentation
Executing QA test plans for system enhancements and wider technology projects
Coordinating project activities across business, technical and IT teams
Supporting task prioritisation and ensuring key actions remain on track
Working across multiple projects and competing deadlines
Undertaking occasional UK travel when requiredWhat We're Looking For
Previous experience in a Junior Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, Business Systems or similar technology-focused position
Experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes
Exposure to QA testing, UAT or system enhancement projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence working with a broad range of stakeholders
Strong organisation, attention to detail and project coordination skills
The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
Immediate or short-notice availabilityExperience within retail, fashion, ecommerce or wholesale would be particularly beneficial. Exposure to systems such as ERP, PIM, PLM, POS, planning, allocation or supply chain platforms would also be advantageous, but experience across every area is not required.
