Junior Systems Administrator

Junior Systems Administrator | Broadband Provider | Up to £35k | Fully Remote
 
We are currently working with our client as they revolutionise broadband experiences for their customers. The position is responsible for the organisation's IT/BSS support function, which uses a wide range of instruments and technology.
 
This role is a great chance for a 1st or 2nd line support engineer to transition into systems administration.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Controlling access, rights, and user accounts in Office 365 and SharePoint.
Using MFA to administer Entra ID for safe user authentication.
applying Microsoft Intune to package and deploy apps quickly and effectively.
Using Autopilot, manage Windows 11 and mobile device deployments, including physical device builds and end-user dispatch.
Ensuring a seamless user experience and transition for OS updates and device migrations.
Putting security settings and policies into practice for managing devices and users.
Setting up and keeping up Data Loss Prevention (DLP) profiles, as well as keeping an eye on and implementing DLP regulations to protect private data.
Keeping up security and vulnerability patching procedures for all kinds of devices.
Managing and providing support for the company's use of Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
Coordinating product updates and issue and outage management with SaaS providers.
Offering internal users technical help, resolving software and hardware problems, and guaranteeing less downtime.
Working together on infrastructure projects and CPE to apply innovative technologies and solutions. 
Qualifications and Experience:

Prior experience as a 1st/2nd line support engineer.
Knowledge of Entra ID and Office 365 management.
Knowledge of using Intune application packaging and deployment.
Understanding of mobile technologies and Microsoft, including experience with Windows 11 Autopilot implementation.
Familiarity in managing mobile and laptop MDM.
Familiarity with virtualization and Desktop VDI.
Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
Capacity to successfully manage and support SaaS solutions.
Acquaintance with cloud-based services, particularly with Azure and SaaS offerings.
