About the Role:
Are you a junior setting out engineer with experience in setting out? Do you have experience working with the latest setting out instruments and hold a valid CSCS card? Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your career with a reputable subcontractor? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are working on behalf of a prestigious client, a well-established groundwork subcontractor. We are seeking a dedicated Junior Setting Out Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to ongoing projects across Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, and Essex.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attend various sites to set out groundworks accurately and efficiently.
* Collaborate closely with senior engineers to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met.
* Assist in preparing and maintaining site records and documentation.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards on-site.
Requirements:
* 2 - 3 years of experience in setting out engineering, preferably within the groundwork sector.
* Must hold a valid CSCS card.
* Must be familiar with the latest setting out instruments, including total stations.
* Qualification in civil engineering or a similar field is an advantage.
* Strong understanding of site procedures and groundworks.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Eager to learn and develop further within the industry.
* Full UK driving license (essential).
