Our client is an established and very successful manufacturer of printing and labelling machinery and due to business expansion Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Junior Service Engineer.
The Junior Service Engineer will perform a mixture of workshop and field engineering duties at client locations throughout the UK.
The Role:
Reporting to the service manager you will be responsible for the 'day to day' maintenance of a range of industrial printing and labelling machinery.
Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;
Workshop work assembly, build service and repair of printing and labelling equipment
Field service work including installation, service and repair of printing, labelling machinery
Replace damaged components e.g. print heads, coders, rollers, belts, presses etc etc.
Electrical fault find and repair
Record details of work undertaken and accurately complete paperworkCandidate:
You will have good electrical knowledge and you will be have good single & 3-phase electrical fault fault and repair skills.
Ideally you will have previous machine maintenance or electrical / mechanical fitting or assembly skills.
Previous experience or knowledge of the maintenance and repair of food packaging, labelling and / or printing machinery would be advantageous.
A recognised electrical engineering qualification is desirable.
Full product training will be given.
Hours of Work:
Mon - Fri 8.30am to 5pm
