Job Role of the Junior Engineering SAP Specialist
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Junior Engineering SAP Specialist to join a leading manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in engineering systems, SAP administration and maintenance planning within a fast-paced industrial environment.
Working closely with the Engineering Systems Planner and wider Engineering team, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate engineering data, supporting planned maintenance activities and ensuring SAP is used effectively across the site. This role would suit someone with strong IT skills, excellent attention to detail and an interest in engineering, manufacturing and data management.
You will be responsible for creating and updating engineering master data, supporting maintenance planning, assisting with SAP user queries and producing reports to help improve data quality and engineering performance. Full training and development opportunities will be available for the right candidate.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Junior Engineering SAP Specialist
Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications.
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and follow established procedures.
Good organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with different teams.
Requirements for the Junior Engineering SAP Specialist
Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, data entry or administrative systems.
A methodical approach to checking data for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
Ability to manage routine administrative tasks, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn new systems, processes and technical information.
Good communication skills and the confidence to support colleagues with routine queries.
An interest in engineering systems, maintenance planning and manufacturing processes.
Desirable Requirements of the Junior Engineering SAP Specialist
Previous experience using SAP or another ERP system.
Experience within an engineering, maintenance, manufacturing or production environment.
Understanding of engineering parts, bills of materials (BOMs), equipment records or planned maintenance.
Experience with data quality checks, reporting or maintaining business records.
Exposure to maintenance management systems, work orders or engineering administration.
